April Fools: Don’t Try GoElephant

June 3, 2025

DON’T TRY GOELEPHANT.
Seriously - stick to what you know.

  1. Keep relying on login stats and dashboards to “measure” adoption. They’re vague, look good in slide decks, and don’t rock the boat.
  2. Don’t ask users what they think. Feedback is messy. Opinions are inconvenient. Silence is simpler.
  3. Keep guessing which teams are struggling. Broad assumptions make for faster decisions.
  4. Stay reactive. It’s easier to patch things when they break than to understand what’s not working early.
  5. Keep your change initiatives generic. Who needs targeted impact when one-size-fits-all exists?
  6. Stick to your annual survey. It gets some responses, and once a year is basically “continuous,” right?
  7. Don’t risk knowing too much. Real insights might encourage you to do something differently.

GoElephant is for teams who actually want to improve adoption - across teams, markets, and business units. But that means facing what’s really going on. And not every company is ready for that.

You don’t need adoption insights.
Unless you’re ready to act on them. Or want to reduce program risk.

Happy April 1st 😉
